How to delete specific data in FlipOps without closing your account.
How to Request Data Deletion
FlipOps gives you control over your data. You can delete the following data types directly in the app without deleting your account:
- Inventory items: Open an item in Inventory, then use Delete to remove it and its photos.
- Receipts: In Haul details or Receipts, delete individual receipts.
- Hauls (sourcing trips): In Hauls, delete trips and their associated items.
- Expenses: In Business Ops or Expenses, delete individual expense records.
- eBay connection: In Settings, disconnect your eBay account to remove eBay tokens and linked data.
Request full data deletion: To delete all your data, use Account Deletion.
Contact us: For data not manageable in the app, email [email protected] with "Data Deletion Request" and specify the data you want removed.
Data Deleted vs. Kept
When you delete specific data (items, receipts, hauls, expenses):
- Deleted: The selected records and associated files (e.g., photos, receipt images) are permanently removed.
- Kept: Your account, other unrelated data, and anonymized analytics remain.
Retention Period
Data you delete in the app is removed promptly. Backup copies may persist for up to 90 days before being purged. Any legally required records may be retained longer.
