Delete Your FlipOps Account
Request deletion of your account and all associated data.
How to Request Account Deletion
FlipOps allows you to permanently delete your account at any time. Follow these steps:
- Open the FlipOps app (mobile or web) and sign in.
- Go to Settings (gear icon).
- Scroll to the Account section.
- Tap or click Delete Account.
- Type DELETE to confirm.
- Tap or click Delete Account again to complete the process.
Alternative: If you cannot access the app, email [email protected] with the subject "Account Deletion Request" and your account email address.
Data That Is Deleted
When you delete your FlipOps account, the following data is permanently removed:
- Account profile (email, eBay user ID)
- eBay OAuth tokens and connection
- Inventory items and photos
- Sourcing hauls and receipts
- Expenses and mileage records
- Settings and preferences
- Credit balance and transaction history
- Alerts and notifications
- Search history and analytics
Data That May Be Retained
Some information may be retained for legal or business purposes:
- Transactional records: Anonymized order and payment records required for tax or legal compliance.
- Backup copies: Data may exist in backup systems for up to 90 days before being purged.
Retention Period
Account deletion is processed immediately. Backup copies are typically removed within 90 days. Any legally required records may be retained for longer as required by applicable law.
